Getting Dinner Ready
Already have my balsamic pork roast in the crockpot for dinner tonight. I will be shredding it and serving over brown jasmine coconut rice. It is so nice to have most of my dinner already done. Crock Pot Balsamic Pork Roast
Ingredients:
- 2 pound boneless pork shoulder roast (sirloin roast)
- kosher salt, to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
Directions:
Rub pork with salt, garlic powder and red pepper flakes.
Brown Jasmine Coconut Rice
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups brown jasmine rice
- 2 Cups water
- 2 Cups coconut milk (1 can coconunt milk + a little water to make up the difference)
Put all the ingredients in your rice steamer just as you would for regular rice and enjoy 🙂
